New flood warnings for South Devon

NEW flood alerts have been issued for South Devon today.

The Environment Agency issued the warnings at 10am today.

  1. Flood

They say flooding is possible for the Totnes, Ashburton, Buckfastleigh, Dartmouth and Torbay areas throughout today.

The warning also takes in the Rivers Teign, Bovey, Lemon, Avon, Erme and Harbourne, and coastal streams from Bigbury to Dartmouth and from Babbacombe to Kenton.

A band of heavy rain was set to move across South Devon throughout the morning, clearing during the afternoon.
