Night of poetry, comedy and music in Totnes for Oxfam
MATT Harvey, Jackie Juno, Jade Moon and a host of other stars from the world of comedy, poetry and music are supporting Oxfam at the Barrell House in Totnes on Tuesday, July 3.
Entertainment kicks off at 8pm but last year's Oxfam Bookfest event was a sell out so people should arrive early to get a good seat.
This event, which will raise money for Oxfam projects supporting people in their efforts to find a way out of poverty and develop better health and education facilities, is part of the national Oxfam Bookfest week.
Hundreds of Oxfam Bookshops and fundraising groups around the UK have joined with writers, musicians, poets and entertainers to run events that raise money and awareness.

Organiser and local poet, Jade Moon, said: “We have so many talented performers right here in Totnes and nearby towns and it’s great that they have come together to support Oxfam. The Oxfam message is a serious one but this is going to be an evening to enjoy.”
