Ofsted hails ‘Outstanding’ Torquay Nursery
A TORQUAY NURSERY is celebrating after being graded 'Outstanding in all areas' in a recent Ofsted report.
Mama Bear's Day Nursery and Pre-school, based on Barewell Road in Torquay, were inspected over the past month. During her visit, Ofsted Inspector Elaine Douglas made many exceptionally positive observations.
"Children are active learners significantly benefitting from the staff's effective teaching and learning", said Mrs Douglas, "Staff provide outstanding role models so that they prepare children extremely well for their next stages of learning."
Mama Bear's Nursery Manager, Carly Powlesland, is delighted with the outcome. "I am so proud of my team! We are passionate about what we do and to have all our hard work awarded with an outstanding grade really makes it worthwhile."
