Paignton Library launches wi-fi service
Connecting to the internet is now even easier for customers at Paignton Library and Information Centre.
Torbay Council has successfully installed Wi-Fi facilities, which means that customers can come to the library with their own laptops, or other portable devices, and link to the internet wirelessly.
Library members can enjoy up to an hours free Wi-Fi use during their session by using their card number and pin. Non members and visitors can gain Wi-Fi access for up to 30 minutes per day by getting logon details from staff.
Executive Lead for Culture and Arts, Cllr Dave Butt, said: "With so many people now using the internet to access services, keep in touch with friends and family and manage their finances I am delighted that we have been able to facilitate this and provide free Wi-Fi for our customers.
