AN exhibition by local artist Hayley-Blue Waters is on display at Paignton Library and Information Centre until Thursday 4 October.

Hayley-Blue Waters is a UK based, contemporary artist who studied at Walsall College of Art and moved from Birmingham to Torbay three years ago.

She believes being self taught gives her an advantage over other artists because: "It broadens the mind and lets you experiment, rather than being told how to do things, learning through experience."

Various examples of Hayley's work will be on display including wood and canvas art.

Executive Lead for Art and Culture and South-west Regional Board Member for the Arts Council, Cllr Dave Butt, said: "I am delighted that we have been able to support the work of a wonderful and talented local artist.

"The Paignton Library and Information Centre building provides a great location for such events and I would urge as many people as possible to take the opportunity to see Hayley's work for themselves."
