Partnership's support for awards celebrating hospitality and tourism
TOURISM partnership Visit South Devon is lending its support to the new South Devon Tourism and Hospitality Awards 2012, hosted by The Herald Express.
Marketing manager Stephanie Cherrett said: "We are delighted to be supporting the new tourism awards particularly as Visit South Devon is committed to raising standards in tourism and hospitality, and the awards will give South Devon businesses and individuals the opportunity to show case the best of what's on offer."
Stephanie, who will also be one of the judges, added: "Tourism and hospitality are vital ingredients in the South Devon economy and Visit South Devon is keen to get behind an initiative that celebrates the importance of both these sectors.

Visit South Devon is the area tourism partnership responsible for promoting South Devon to national and regional audiences.
The main aim of the company is to increase the number of visitors to South Devon for the benefit of the local tourism economy.
With links into other events in Devon and the South West, the English Riviera and South Devon Tourism and Hospitality awards will promote and encourage the very best in this crucial sector for the future growth of the economy of the area.
Entries will be invited until late July.
Judging will take place followed by a five-star event to celebrate short-listed companies, winners and all of those entering on September 28.
