THE Acoustic Warehouse Open Mic Club, which meets on Monday evenings at the Passage House in Kingsteignton, has some interesting gigs coming up.

The club started at the Bell in Kingsteignton before moving down the road to the Passage House.

Organiser Nigel Dee says the aim is to provide a local venue to enable all acoustic musicians and singer/songwriters to develop their musical skills in an amplified setting.

In December the club gave a cheque for £120, raised from weekly raffles, to Rowcroft Hospice in Torquay.
