THE South Devon fuchsia and pelagonium society is holding its first meeting of the year on Monday, February 6.

Exeter grower Ray Burns will speak on starting fuchsias off for 2012.

The meeting is being held at St Martin's church hall, Barton Road, Torquay, at 7.30pm.

This year, the society is planning two shows.

The pelagonium show will be held at St Martin's church hall on Saturday, June 16, from 12.30pm until 5.30pm.

The fuchsia show will be held at Furrough Cross church hall, St Marychurch, on Saturday, July 14, from 12.30pm until 5pm and Sunday, July 15, from 10am to 4pm.
