Plough Inn make it 3 in a row in Torbay Sunday League
Torbay Sunday League football round up – with Rod Martin.
Plough Inn FC continued their flying start to the season with a 10-1 thrashing of Indian Ocean FC at Buckland and Milber. The Newton Abbot pub side are in the middle of three successive home games and are making hay while the sun shines as they sit proudly at the top of the table with 100% record so far. Ocean couldn't stem the tide, conceding five in each half through Josh Moore (4) Julian Dolan (2) David Crowhurst (2) Lee Lewis and an own goal. Steve Andrews was the only Ocean player to cause a ripple. Referee Mohamed Soliman earned praise for the way he kept the game flowing.

Wheelpower FC celebrate another goal as the Wanderers keeper looks on
Plough next host Old Brewery FC who are also unbeaten after a 7-1 pumping of Dog & Duck FC at Quinta. Ryan White (2) Spike Bond (2) Tom Ogilvie, Chris Harrity and Dan Kingscote were the Brewery marksmen. Dog & Duck hope to have Palace Place Boys FC in their sights this weekend.
It took until the second half for Wheel Power FC to click into gear against Torbay Wanderers FC. They rediscovered their drive following last week's defeat to Plough and eventually ran out 6-1 winners. Dan Broadway scored 2 with Alex Narramore and Dave Worthington getting 1 each as did Mike and Chris Srdinko. Neil Last got the consolation for Wanderers who entertain Indian Ocean at Cricketfield Road while Moon FC await Power at Clennon Valley.
