Plymouth Argyle's Mark Molesley has a chance of facing Torquay United
Manager Carl Fletcher is optimistic midfielder Mark Molesley will be fit for Plymouth Argyle's Devon derby against Torquay United at Home Park on Boxing Day.
The loan signing from AFC Bournemouth was ruled out of the 1-1 npower League Two draw at Accrington Stanley on Saturday by a hamstring injury. However, Fletcher hopes Molesley will be available for the clash against Torquay, whose Devon derby at home to Exeter City on Saturday was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

"I would like to think he will be fit for Boxing Day," said the Pilgrims' boss.
Argyle's draw against Accrington was played on a rain-saturated pitch at the Crown Ground so, in hindsight, it was a good decision not to even consider Molesley for the fixture. Fletcher said: "With the way his hamstring is, it wouldn't have been a great day for him on a boggy, wet pitch."

Argyle are also set to add defender Maxime Blanchard to their squad against Torquay. The centre-back was suspended after he was sent off in the 1-1 draw at Exeter the previous Saturday.
There could even be some involvement against Torquay for midfielder Paul Wotton The 35-year-old – who has not played since mid-September because of a nerve problem in his back which required an operation – travelled to Accrington, although he was not named among the seven substitutes there.
Speedy attacker Paris Cowan-Hall could be in line for a recall to the starting line-up on Boxing Day. He had been forced to sit out the draw at Exeter because of a dead leg and Joe Lennox was preferred to him on the right of midfield on Saturday, but the 21-year-old struggled before being replaced by Cowan-Hall.
