Police appeal after Newton Abbot jewellery theft
POLICE are appealing for information after cash and jewellery were stolen from a home in Newton Abbot.
The offenders forced the front door of the property in Devon Square on July 28 between 1.30pm and 3.05pm.
They stole a large quantity of cash and a considerable amount of jewellery including two gold rings, one set with a cluster of small diamonds and the other containing three clear square cut stones, the centre stone being the largest.
Also taken were an oval gold bracelet with a scroll engraving and a link chain style bracelet with 10 charms including a dolphin, anchor, heart and cross.

The burglars also escaped with a gold cameo brooch with a cream face and rosy pink background, and a pink gold brooch bearing a flower with wings either side, similar to the RAF wings.
Police are urging anyone who has information or may have been offered the jewellery for sale to contact them on 101, quoting crime reference JN/12/2056 of 28/07/12.
