POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a collision which left a 92-year-old Paignton man with serious injuries.

The man was walking on Cecil Road around 10.20am yesterday when he was in collision with a Mazda car.

He suffered hip and shoulder injuries and was taken ambulance to Torbay District Hospital where his condition is described as serious but stable.

 

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision which happened at the junction of Cecil Road and Torquay Road.

 

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit at Newton Abbot on 101, quoting log number 175 of 10/12/12.
