BAY police are hunting a 42-year-old man who has breached the terms of his release from prison licence.

Richard Smart (left), also known as Davis, has failed to comply with the conditions of his early release from jail for burglary.

He is 6ft 2ins tall, heavily built with blue eyes and shaved sandy-coloured hair.

A police spokesman said he was 'violent upon approach'.

He added: "He has a plethora of different tattoos on both arms ranging from bulldogs to swallows."

Smart is known to have links to the Bristol area.
