Police hunting car driver after Paignton rollerskater crash
POLICE are trying to trace a driver who failed to stop at the scene of a collision in Paignton which left a man seriously injured.
The 45-year-old man was rollerskating down Winner Street around 2.50pm on Thursday, September 13 when he was in collision with a car outside Paignton Washeteria.

He was knocked to the ground but the driver left the scene without stopping.
The victim, from Paignton, sustained serious back injuries and was taken to Torbay District Hospital before being transferred to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.

Officers from the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit are now trying to trace the car which is thought to be a black Volkswagen, possibly a Golf or Polo.
PC Keith Evans, from the Serious Collisions Investigation Unit at Newton Abbot, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who may be able to help us trace the driver of the vehicle.”
