In a statement issued on Friday, Devon and Cornwall Police have said that there is now "little hope" of finding Jordan Cobb, the 16-year-old teenager who jumped from the Torpoint Ferry.

Extensive searches of sea and shoreline carried out over the last two weeks have involved the police, RNAS Culdrose helicopter, several RNLI teams and the MoD.

The statement continued:

"Based on the time since he went missing, the last known sighting of him in the River Tamar on New Year's Eve and no information since, there is now little hope of finding Jordan alive."

He was seen to jump from the Torpoint Ferry into the River Tamar at around 9:15pm on New Year's Eve.
