Public Meeting Organised to Send Torbay Council Clear Message on Shoalstone Pool
THE fight to keep Shoalstone Pool is on and the gloves are off.
Now Brixham residents and visitors are being asked to come to a public meeting and send Torbay Council a clear message to stop messing with one of Britain's last lidos.
Suzanne Miecskowska, the secretary of the Friends of Shoalstone Pool, said: "The moment has come to put real pressure on Torbay Council about the future of Shoalstone Pool.
"At the moment there is no clear future in sight.

"The public needs to know what is going on."
A public meeting is being organised at Brixham Rugby Club on Wednesday December 12 and invitations have been sent to Mayor Gordon Oliver and several officers working on the case.
Mrs Miecskowska said: "We need to launch a proper campaign to save this much loved open air pool."
The meeting will run from 7pm to 9pm.
