Coombeshead Academy art and design teacher Sam Eyre ran the sessions where students of all ages created small handmade drawings and collages inspired by a variety of artists.
The work was scanned and digitally manipulated to create the large-scale, weatherproof mural which is now displayed along the outside of the languages corridor.
Mr Eyre said: "The students really had an amazing time working on this project.
"The opportunity to work on such an ambitious, collaborative project with such an incredible outcome is fantastic for all the students involved.
"The artwork not only celebrates such amazing events that have happened over the summer that have inspired us all, but also shows the wealth of collective talent we have in our local primary schools and at Coombeshead."
