Rainbow wedding turns out to be a dazzler for TV show
ALL the colours of the rainbow at an eye-catching Torbay wedding will make a spectacle for Five television viewers this autumn.
When Torquay barber Tyla Zulhayir married lifelong sweetheart Jo Ward at Cockington Church, surrounded by bridesmaids in multicoloured dresses, the wedding was filmed by Blink productions to be screened in September for Five for a photography series hosted by Suzi Perry, of The Gadget Show.

COLOURFUL AFFAIR: Jo Ward and Tyla Zulhayir's rainbow wedding will be screened on Five in the autumn
The inspiration for the rainbow wedding came from a multi-coloured Christmas decoration reading 'Love'. It was part of the cake on the big day.
Jo, who lives with 37-year-old Tyla in Torquay, said: "It was an amazing day. The girls looked great.
"It was originally all signed and sealed for us to appear on the TV programme Four Weddings, but the commissioning editor went sick and when she returned it was too late to get it together. They handed it over to their colleagues, who contacted me two days before the wedding and said they were keen to film it."
The wedding was followed by a colourful reception at the Carlton Hotel and an al fresco barbecue at Torquay's Barcelo Imperial Hotel.
Jo, 36, said: "Each bridesmaid wore a different colour of the rainbow, with hot pink thrown in for good measure.
"We had a colourful cocktail bar, a work-of-art wedding cake and flying paper lanterns in the evening."
