Reward for help
YOUNG volunteers from Brixham were rewarded with certificates of achievement for helping the homeless.
The 14 to 18 year olds were part of the Youth Enquiry Service which manned the late-night soup kitchens of Plymouth.

The group met in Brixham and, under the guidance of local police and the Salvation Army, spent a night in the city distributing hot food.
Acting Sergeant and team leader Tracy Sharam said all the young people should be congratulated for volunteering their own time to help others.
"It shows a lot of young people are willing to help in the community if they are given the opportunity.
"We also have a group who go round to old people's gardens and help those who find it difficult to keep them in good order."
She appealed for people to donate socks and other basic items of clothing which can be distributed to the homeless.
The YES is based in Brixham town hall.
