The flood warning for the lower River Teign from Chudleigh to Kingsteignton is no longer in force, according to the Environment Agency. (1pm Monday) 

 

No further flooding is currently expected in this area.

Flood warnings and alerts may still be in force for surrounding areas.

 

River levels have reached their highest level and are steadily falling. River levels still remain high and out of banks in some areas.

 

Standing water on fields and roads is still a problem and you should avoid going near it or driving through it. Do not take any unnecessary risks.

 

 

 

 

 

- Flood water may still be around for several days and could be contaminated.

 

- Call Floodline on 0845 988 1188 for advice if you have been affected by flooding or for up-to-date flooding information.

 

- Visit the Environment Agency website www.environment-agency.gov.uk for river level and flooding information.
