Roadworks begin on main Exeter to Newton Abbot route
ROADWORKS were due to begin today on the main A380 between Newton Abbot and Exeter.
Drainage works are due to start near Ashcombe Cross.
The left-hand lane of the Newton Abbot-bound carriageway will be closed between Ashcombe Cross and Wapperwell Dip while the work is carried out during the next three weeks.
The aim of the work is to prevent surface water running onto the road.
