Roadworks mean Paignton-Totnes road closure
THE main road between Paignton and Totnes will be closed overnight for the next two weeks.
The road closures will be carried out on the A385 between Totnes and Longcombe from Monday 17 September to Friday 28 September.

The closures, from 7pm to 6am, are needed for essential roadworks between Brutus Bridge Roundabout, Totnes, and Longcombe Cross.
The main diversion route will be via the A381 Newton Abbot, A380 Kingskerswell, Marldon and Kings Ash Road, Paignton and vice versa.

A Devon County Council spokesman said that to minimise inconvenience to the travelling public, several maintenance schemes have been co-ordinated into a condensed time period.
Work includes resurfacing, micro surfacing, patching, high friction surfacing, concrete road stabilisation, as well as other highway maintenance.
