TRANSITION Town pioneer Rob Hopkins will be among the guests invited on board when an unusual sailing ship arrives in Brixham tomorrow.

The Tres Hombres is a cargo ship, moving goods across the oceans with an 'exemplary' carbon footprint.

She will reach Brixham with commercial cargo from the Caribbean on board.

Exeter Brewery’s organic Avocet Ale will then be loaded on the Tres Hombres to be shipped to Brittany on October 20.

Events on board during the ship's stay in Brixham will include a rum tasting and a discussion on 'clean sail shipping' during which Mr Hopkins will join Captain Jorne Langelaan and other guests.

There will be ship visits as well.

For bookings call 07722 486995.
