annual visit to Brixham suffered a set back this year when torrential rain

Children will still
have the chance to chat to Father Christmas about their present lists when
Brixham Rotary, together with Inner Wheel and Soroptimist members, take to the
streets of Brixham, Churston and Galmpton from Monday 10 December, bringing
festive cheer and carols to local residents.
David
Roberts, President of Brixham Rotary said:
"Father Christmas and his sleigh will be
out distributing sweets, listening to Christmas lists and wishing everyone a
Peaceful and Happy Christmas. His happy Rotarian, Soroptimist and Inner Wheel
helpers will be shaking tins in aid of the Friends of Shoalstone
Swimming Pool and Brixham Does Care."
"We
are grateful to Speedy Hire of Torquay who have kindly loaned a generator to
light up Father Christmas."
There is no charge for visiting Father Christmas, but any
donations received will be divided between The Friends of Shoalstone Swimming
Pool and Brixham Does Care.
Posters and leaflets have been distributed around shops in
Brixham and Galmpton and local schools giving times and stop-off points for the
sleigh.
