School's choir hopes to be a hit on radio
BROADHEMPSTON youngsters have been showcasing their singing talents.
The primary schoolchildren have been singing their way around South Devon, performing a mixture of traditional carols and modern Christmas pop songs which have been earning rave reviews.
They have sung at Dartington Great Hall, Dame Hannahs at Seale Hayne, Newton Abbot town centre and South Devon College, where the concert was broadcast live on the college radio station, Vibe FM.
The children are also recording a version of the Christmas song 'Sleigh Ride', which is being entered into a competition run by Chris Evans on his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show.
