FOUR new directors are being sought for the board of Torbay's tourism company.

The appointments, which result from the rotation of board places at the English Riviera Tourism Company, will run from January.

The private/public partnership company is responsible for marketing the English Riviera, managing the English Riviera Visitor Information Service and helping to deliver the tourism strategy Turning the Tide for Tourism in Torbay. It is looking to recruit four directors, including a finance director.

Chief executive, Carolyn Custerson, said: "This is an exciting opportunity for those passionate about the English Riviera. Applicants must have experience in working within the tourism sector with board or senior management experience preferable. Skills in finance and marketing are beneficial for some of the roles."
