"Shard" is the latest addition at Babbacombe Model Village
Babbacombe Model Village is about to unveil its latest £40,000 edition. The London Shard model will be towering above the model city complete with state-of-the-art multi-colour lighting and lasers. Simon Wills, general manager, said: "This is a very significant development for us, as part of our 50th anniversary celebrations, and should be a major attraction for our evening illuminations." The Shard will be ready from late March but will be first open for viewing at night from March 31 to April 4.

“WOW what a waste of £40k!! I feel sorry for the handful of tourists that come to Torbay this year and be disappointed in what a poo hole Torbay is now. They are the ones who will be paying the inflated model village prices to pay for this.”
