Kiddi Caru Day Nursery has had snails Peppa, Jules and Brodie since August, and the nursery's youngsters have been very excited at the arrival of the snails' first offspring.
Nursery manager David Lord said: "As we have welcomed so many into the nursery recently, we are offering out to people in Torquay and the surrounding area free snails to have as pets at home."

He said African land snails make low-maintenance and fascinating pets.
They usually live for five to seven years and grow up to 12cm in length.
They need to live in a tank with a vented lid, a heat pad, and cuttlefish for calcium to help their shell grow strong.
"The children love them because they can pick them up. They give them leftover cucumber and lettuce," said David.
"They are a good introduction to pets and the responsibility of looking after them."
All new owners will be supplied with a fact sheet.
