Sondico Stand's spruce up
TORQUAY UNITED have agreed a new sponsorship deal with sports equipment and kit supply giants Sondico which should allow the Gulls to replace all the seats in Plainmoor's Family Stand.
The section will be known as the Sondico Stand.
The rise of the 'Bristow's Bench' grandstand, with its 1,800 new seats picked out in yellow and blue, has highlighted the fact that the 1,300 Family Stand seats, most of them nearly 20 years old, could do with replacing.
United's commercial manager Dean Edwards said: "Fingers-crossed, we'll have all new seats in the Sondico Stand in the near future.

"Plainmoor is still a work in progress.
"Our new 'Yellow Brick Road' signs are up now, and our fans will see a lot of changes, big and small, over next season.
