South Devon Blockbuster stores escape the axe

THREE Blockbuster stores in South Devon have escaped the latest round of closures after the national video rental chain went into administration.

A spokesman for administrators Deloitte confirmed this week that the stores in Market Street, Torquay; Queen Street in Newton Abbot and Torquay Road, Preston are not among the total of 300 which are now to close.
