South Devon on weekend ice and snow alert
SOUTH Devon was put on snow and ice alert by the Met Office today.
The weathermen issued a yellow warning of snow and ice for Saturday and ice for Sunday across the west of England.

There could be up to 10cm of snow on high ground on Saturday, they say, as cold air is drawn down across the region in the wake of heavy rain moving away to the south.
Falling temperatures will lead to a risk of icy roads.
