Students put drawing talents on show
AN EXHIBITION of drawings, previously shown at the RK Burt Gallery in London last month, has opened at the Ariel Centre, Totnes.
Titled Render, the exhibition will feature a diverse range of subjects and approaches to drawing by students studying BA (Hons) Drawing at University College Falmouth.
Within the contemporary visual arts in Europe, there has been something of a resurgence of drawing in recent years, reasserting its value and relevance to many artists and designers.
Artists displaying their work include Harriet Billingham from Paignton, Emma Hunt from Dawlish and Laura McHugh from Teignmouth who previously studied Foundation Art and Design at King Edward VI Community College, Totnes.
