PUPILS at Torquay Girls' Grammar School have been swimming their way to fitness.

For the school's annual swim-a-thon at Swim Torquay's Plainmoor pool, the girls were set the task of swimming as many lengths as they could in one hour.

All proceeds raised are going towards the sports hall fund.

Alice Davis in 10R achieved the greatest number of lengths, completing 152 in the hour.
