TV's 'Hotel' owner Keith Richardson saves Christmas for OAPs
NEW Grosvenor Hotel owner Keith Richardson has saved Christmas for a party of pensioners in danger of losing their turkey and tinsel weekend.
Problems arose over their £4,212 cash-paid booking for a break at the hotel in Torquay's Belgrave Road — made famous by Channel 4's fly-on-the-wall The Hotel series.

Grandma Anita Walters, 72, was organising the trip for 55 members of the Coach House social group from Caerau Maesteg, near Bridgend.
She heard there may have been problems this week.

She said: "I was as sick as a parrot. Everyone was so looking forward to their holiday."
Owners Keith and Fiona Richardson got into the festive spirit early when they heard the pensioners had been saving £2 a week all year for their holiday in the Bay.
Fiona said: "It really plucked at our heart strings when we were told that all the guests had been saving up £2 a week for their only holiday of the year."
Keith said: "That is 57 people for three nights, dinner, bed and breakfast but what else could we do? They were really looking forward to their holiday."
Staff at the hotel worked quickly to make sure that the holiday went ahead.
Mrs Walters said: "I was in tears when they told me, I was so happy. When I see Mr Richardson, I am going to give him a great big hug."
Mrs Walters explained that she has had a nightmare year.
She lost her husband Cliff, 75, to a heart attack just before Christmas last year and is still nursing her 46-year-old daughter Karen, who is recovering after three weeks on a life support machine after being involved in an accident.
"I can't wait for this year to be over," she said.
