TV's Jason puts young dancers through their paces
STUDENTS at the Totnes School of Dance have enjoyed a high-energy weekend of instruction from renowned performer and choreographer Jason Beitel.
Jason, who is a dancer for Kylie Minogue and has worked with artists such as Elton John, Cheryl Cole and David Guetta, spent two days working with students ranging from eight to 18 years old.

The classes, which were based on the commercial jazz style, focused on technique and demonstrated the importance of classical ballet in all dance styles.
Jason, who is also a successful choreographer for Britain's Got Talent and X Factor, also taught a number of repertoire pieces.

Parent Barbara Porter, whose daughter Charlotte,13, has danced with Totnes School of Dance for two years, said: "What a massive inspirational and positive role model for our young dancers."
The school hopes to be able to welcome Jason back next year.
