TV singing stars add sparkle to Torbay Christmas celebrations
TWO finalists from rival peak time TV shows X Factor and The Voice will help Torquay usher in the Christmas spirit this year.
Adam Isaac, quarter finalist in the BBC's The Voice UK, will be on the main stage in Fleet Street from 4pm followed by X Factor finalist Amelia Lily (pictured) who's recent debut single, You Bring Me Joy, debuted at number two on the UK singles chart.
Christmas arrives on Saturday, November 17, with Torbay Town Centre Company's annual Christmas Sparkle event.
The festive family fun starts at 11am with street entertainers in Torquay town centre. The grand finale of the day will be a spectacular firework event from Torquay Harbour at 6pm.

Late-night shopping will be on Thursdays, December 6, 13 and 20, with parking promotions for Torbay Council car parks that will coincide with the late-night shopping and main Christmas Sparkle event.
Torquay BID manager for the company Rachael Weaver said: "It's great to secure two such fantastic and current acts.
"The Christmas event is always so vibrant and busy, the town centre businesses benefit from the increased amount of visitors and everywhere is a hub of festive activity."
