Rush to find new Teignmouth coach after Aggett resigns
TEIGNMOUTH have been dealt an unexpected blow on the eve of a new season with the shock resignation of coach Chris Aggett.
Aggett took over at Bitton Park last season from Richard Burden.

After a shaky start to the campaign, the Teigns stormed up the Cornwall & Devon table before Christmas and put together an eight-game winning run.
Teignmouth finished fifth out of 14 clubs in the division and were being widely tipped to press for promotion this term.
Aggett, who previously coached at Newton Abbot and Cullompton, broke the news to stunned committeemen on Tuesday night.
Bob Farrell, the Teigns' vice-chairman, said the club had no idea why Aggett had suddenly decided to stand down.
"All he said was 'personal reasons' and didn't go into details," said Farrell.
"We now find ourselves on the eve of a new season looking for a coach, which isn't an ideal situation.
"Two of the senior players — Colin Aldworth and Chris Tidman — are caretaking, until we can find someone.
"We are hoping there is someone out there who is interested in getting into coaching, but needs a club. Or there maybe someone who has just moved into the area and is looking to get fixed up.
"Anyone who is interested in having a chat about being our new coach should contact me."
Farrell's phone number is Teignmouth (01626) 774113.
