Thumbs up for new water splash area
SCHOOL children helped mark the official opening of a new water splash area at Lady's Mile Holiday Park in Dawlish.
Pupils of Cockwood Primary School joined town mayor Cllr Pauline Bloomfield to open the splash area at the seaside caravan and touring park.
The water play zone is not just for park visitors, it can also be used for local school children.
Lady's Mile Holiday Park is situated just off the Exeter Road. The family run holiday park is owned by the Jeffrey family.

Park owner Jason Jeffery said the work was just one part of an investment programme to make Lady's Mile a place for the locals and tourists alike to use.
Cllr Bloomfield said: "It is great that a local business is investing in the area and that these facilities are not just for the tourists that come to the park but also for the local children to use as well."
Mr Jeffrey said: "We would like to thank John Adcock and Dawlish Community Transport who provided the transport for the children from the school to the holiday park free of charge."
