Park owner Jason Jeffery said the work was just one part of an investment programme to make Lady's Mile a place for the locals and tourists alike to use.
Cllr Bloomfield said: "It is great that a local business is investing in the area and that these facilities are not just for the tourists that come to the park but also for the local children to use as well."
Mr Jeffrey said: "We would like to thank John Adcock and Dawlish Community Transport who provided the transport for the children from the school to the holiday park free of charge."
