Torch bearers open school gym
OLYMPIC torch bearers Tiegan Flay and Louise Hooker opened the new state-of-the-art fitness suite at Coombeshead Academy, Newton Abbot.
Tiegan and Lousie, who are students at the school, got to try out the new equipment which includes six spinning bikes, a treadmill, a cross trainer, four rowing machines, a multi-station weights machine and much more. "It will be used by all students and is also available to staff as well as being available for extra curricular clubs," said Sarah Spaull, press officer at the college.
