Torquay Hennessy restaurant staff's saucy way to raise cash for hospice
SOME of the male staff at a Torquay restaurant have served up a saucy calendar to raise funds for charity.
The staff from Hennessy restaurant and cocktail lounge have produced the Naked Truth to support Rowcroft Hospice.
General manager, head chef and Mr January, Richard Gardner said: "We do a lot to raise money for Rowcroft because we know people who have gone there, but this is the first time we've done something like this.
"We hope our humour, slight insanity and nakedness can really help bring loads of money into a very worthwhile local charity."

The men created a similar, homemade, one-off calendar a couple of years ago 'for a laugh'. Some of the customers saw it and suggested they produced a proper one.
They approached Scott Leeson, who did the photography for the restaurant's website, and he agreed to take the photos for the charity calendar free of charge.
We Are Creating did the calendar design free of charge, and the Hennessy staff were just left with the printing costs.
The calendar is being sold for £6 or £10 for two, and if all 500 are sold it will raise around £1,500 for the hospice.
There were 100 pre-orders from word of mouth alone.
Richard, 36, said: "All the lads worked really hard in the eight weeks running up to the photo shoot, either at the gym or on various diets, or both. One lad lost nearly two stone.
"A lot of time and brainpower was put into the different titles and wording for each pose to keep it light and witty.
"We're always quite conservative at work and it was good to have a bit of a change.
"If it goes really well, maybe the girls will get involved with a similar calendar next year."
The calendar is available now from Hennessy in Torwood Street.
