TORQUAY has lost its Minor Counties fixture this season after a disappointing pitch report in 2011.

The Recreation Ground hosted the game against Cheshire in July, which Devon won on by three wickets.

Umpires Geoff Callaway and Roger Tolchard gave the ground low marks, in the wake of which Devon have switched to Exeter for one of their three home games this season.

Torquay was left off the fixture list in 2007, but did get a one-day game that summer. Devon have picked North Devon and Bovey Tracey for their one-day matches in 2012.

The full fixture list is (cup): April 22 v Hertfordshire (away); April 29 v Cornwall (North Devon CC), May 6 v Bedfordshire (Bovey Tracey), May 20 v Oxfordshire (Challow). Championship: June 10-12 v Wales (Exmouth); June 24-26 v Cornwall (St Austell); July 8-10 v Hereford (Sidmouth), July 22 v Berkshire (Finchampstead), August 5 v Dorset (Exeter) and August 19 v Shropshire (Whitchurch).
