“A great effort to finish fifth when the leading goal scorer has only 14 to his name and who very often played as the 1 in a 4-5-1 formation.

I think these stats show how important it is for us to sign another goal scoring forward for next season, given that Lee Mansell was our second highest contributor and who I'm sure would be the first to admit that he wouldn't expect to be such.

The difference between automatic promotion and the play-off lottery is a fine one, perhaps just a handful of goals, an extra one at Oxford away and against Crewe at home and who knows.......

Whilst we have a strong back four and a very good keeper for Division Two, we must add some additional firepower, so when finding ourselves 0-1 down we have a chance of overhauling the deficit!

    Come On You Yellows.”
