THE 'TACHE' IS BACK!: All United's players are signing up for 'Movember', the annual moustache-growing campaign to raise funds and awareness for men's health, notably prostate and testicular cancer.

Kick It Out day comes to Plainmoor

KICK IT OUT: United's home game against Morecambe on Saturday will mark One Game One Community – Kick It Out day at Plainmoor.

Players, officials and even Gilbert The Gull will be wearing T-shirts.

Manager Martin Ling and assistant Shaun Taylor have judged a poster and poem competition at nearby Westlands School, and the winners will be presented with their prizes before kick-off.

Sponsors wanted for Inspirations side

BACKING WANTED: United's Football In The Community Sports Trust are looking for sponsors for the club's Inspirations Disability Football team.

Fortnightly training sessions (every other Saturday 9am-noon) at Paignton Community College are busy, but the club could do with help for kit, travelling and other expenses.

Anyone interested should contact 01803 322551 or frankprince@torquayunited.com or davina@torquayunited.com.

Many happy returns

HAPPY BIRTHDAY: To United midfielder Damon Lathrope – he'll be 23 on Sunday.
