Nothing is quite as it seems as York sets out to find his missing spouse, and those he thinks he can rely on don't always turn out to have the best of intentions.
The film makes good use of its Torbay locations, which include the Shoreline restaurant, Paignton Library, the Riviera Centre, Dot's Pantry and the Attic club.
Fights and chases sprawl across Rock Walk and the Terrace car park as the film speeds towards its finale.
They're Coming looks and sounds terrific, and makes good use of the talents of its volunteer cast.
Tom Menary comes believably unravelled in the main role, and receives sound support from fellow cast members Mark Vernon Freestone, Lexie Carducci, Kirsty Anne Symonds and more.
It will now be entered into film festivals around the country.

“John Tompkins and his crew are to be heartily congratulated on this achievement, completing an hour long film to this standard is no mean feat. I hope it does well at Festivals but most competitions are, regrettably, limited to short films - under 10 minutes - So They're coming will not be eligible”
