Torquay market stall holders appeal
TORBAY Family Market is starting the new year in a new guise. The market at Castle Circus is returning once a month aiming to give local businesses a regular showcase. Organiser Suzannah Jones, of the Torbay branch of networkingmummies, said they were having to rethink the market as some support, for example in providing stalls, was no longer available. Suzannah said she was planning to run the market on Saturdays as a social enterprise but in the meantime was aiming to hold it once a month, at Castle Circus. "I would like to appeal for traders to make it a success and for it to achieve one of it's objectives of being a regular market that people will get to know and come to for their local produce and products. "As well as helping to with the regeneration of the Castle Circus area I want people to come to 'Buy Local' as we have such a diverse range of businesses operating in the background of Torbay with some fabulous products." “Omni, it was only two days ago that you were stating that, with all your taxi driving experience that castle circus was the perfect place for drug hostels and factory row (usual multi appearances in around the courts this week) because no tourist or family in their right minds went anywhere near castle circus.
