Torquay manager Martin Ling is unlikely to make wholesale changes to his winning side as the Gulls look to take advantage of their rivals` FA Cup commitments.

Their rearranged clash with Dagenham at Plainmoor is one of just three npower League Two games this weekend and, with only one side above them in action, this match is a chance for Torquay to close in on the play-off places.

  1. Torquay United

Captain Lee Mansell will sit out the second game of a three-match suspension, but United have no new injury or selection worries as they look to build on an impressive 2-0 victory at York.

"We can't get above ourselves, we know where we are in the league, we're a hard working team," Ling said. "To keep ourselves looking up rather than down was brilliant and we're now three points away from the play-offs."

Meanwhile, former Leicester and Inverness attacker Eric Odhiambo has begun a trial spell with the Gulls.

Dagenham boast virtually a fully-fit squad for as they aim to leapfrog their hosts in the League Two table.

Manager John Still has no new injury or suspension concerns as the Daggers, who have lost just two of their last 12 league matches, look to build upon last weekend's success against Fleetwood.

Fit-again pair Dominic Green and Josh Scott, the latter being on the bench against The Cod Army, are still striving for match fitness before they can be fully thrown into the mix.

Striker Sam Williams came in for Dwight Gayle last Saturday after his loan move to Peterborough and duly bagged the late penalty which clinched all three points against Fleetwood.

Boss Still could well opt to keep faith with an unchanged side, with 15th-placed Dagenham two places and three points behind Torquay in the table.
