Torquay welcome Fleetwood without manager Martin Ling as the Gulls boss continues to recover from illness.

The club confirmed that assistant boss Shaun Taylor will continue to manage the side in the absence of Ling having taken charge for the last two games.

And Taylor will be without top scorer Rene Howe as he begins a two-match ban for his 10th yellow card of the season on Saturday.

The 14-goal striker could be replaced by Ashley Yeoman in the starting line-up but the club are also actively looking to sign another forward before the match.
