Torquay fire warning for youths in Pendennis
FIREFIGHTERS have issued a safety warning to youths in Torquay after putting out a bonfire in woods.
Crews were sent to a wooded area near Pendennis Road at 8.45pm on Wednesday.
They found a fire which had been started by a group of youths. It was quickly extinguished.
Crews have issued a safety warning for residents to be vigilant and told youngsters to be mindful that small fires can quickly get out of hand and spread.
