Ten Tors teenagers found safe and well on Dartmoor
Four teenagers have been found safe and well after they became separated from the adults they were with while training for Ten Tors. The alarm was raised at 7.45pm on Saturday when the missing youngsters rang the police. They were unable to give their location, which was eventually obtained through careful questioning. Although dressed appropriately, they had no shelter with them. Dartmoor Rescue Group was called in to help with the search and the group was found midnight at Fernworthy Forest, suffering from the effects of the cold. All four were allowed home once checked by medical staff.
