Totnes course offers chance to improve relationships
A free workshop on managing relationships is being offered in Totnes this weekend.
Organised by a group of volunteers who also teach relationship skills in schools and the town's family centre, the practical course is offered each year around Valentine's Day.
Leader Chris Grimshaw explained: "We all have good and bad relationships with others – in our families, with friends or at work. Most of the time we grit our teeth and try to get on with it."
He said relationship skills can be learned and improved upon, adding: "Communicating, identifying and meeting our own and other people's needs, managing conflict, dealing with stress, apologising and forgiving are all skills and all of us can improve them."
